boredsquirrel ,

Plasma 6 is extremely stable.

I have way less bugs than on Plasma 5.27

Really great work guys! The desktop is simply not crashing anymore!

We don't deserve KDE

kelvie ,

I installed the beta with this, and I believe this fixed a bunch of flashing while streaming games from a KDE desktop in Wayland when streaming over 120fps using Sunshine (the desktop would flash every now and again, this didnt happen using Hyprland, which I switched back from)

Eeeh. Backporting the bugfix also seems unlikely. So in conclusion, I gotta build it myself.
I don't want bleeding edge, I want less bugs. Yeah, plasma_wayland works okay, but not with two monitors.

MajinBlayze ,

Imo look into opensuse if you want newish stuff without living on the bleeding edge.

Fedora can be an option too if you stick a version behind the latest

For those having trouble remembering: It's already in the name.
Kibibyte --> "Kilo Binary Byte", Mebibyte --> "Mega Binary Byte", etc.

Awesome! Thanks for elaborating. That was what I missed to remember it.

The cropping in spectacle is a feature, I wasn't waiting for, but will definitely love!

Thank you for thinking of that!

With every update of new issues to fix appear.. I am happy that it's evolving, following development closely (in a VM) .. @kde

@vaseline @kde Yep. I do not use reddit but that's the issue exactly.. Hopefully that is fixed in RC this coming January ;)
